The Next Generation Assembly Platform  

The market for compact mobile electronics has grown substantially over the past decade. But production capacity for small, complex products and parts has fallen behind.

What's necessary to close the gap between supply and demand is a production platform able to manufacture very small, complex products and parts at high speeds.

IMS, Masévon, ProfTech and Tumakon are developing such a platform under the name of ProFast^4G: The Next Generation Assembly Platform.

The platform facilitates assembly of small and complex products at very high speeds using a combination of standardised and customised assembly processes. The modular and generic platform cuts down production times and broadens operational capabilities.

IMS designed and our partners helped build process and production modules which can easily be used on several production platforms, you can view examples of these modules via the hyper link in the column on the right.
